Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Karissa Bjorkgren and Scott Lopez
We've collected some of our favorite activities to do in the area below. Feel free to take a look at the below ideas and use it as inspiration to complete your Plan My Trip form on your RSVP so we can create a customized itinerary for you!
Madison Falls Trailhead

Madison Falls Trailhead

1930 Olympic Hot Springs Road, Port Angeles, WA 98363

Our favorite waterfall! We love it so much, this is where the ceremony will be held.

Olympic National Park Visitor Center

Olympic National Park Visitor Center

3002 Mount Angeles Road, Port Angeles, WA 98362

If you're planning on heading into the National Park, we recommend the Visitor Center as your first stop! They have a gift shop, a short trail, and a small museum.

Hoh Rain Forest

Hoh Rain Forest

18113 Upper Hoh Road, Forks, WA 98331

This is definitely the most popular part of Olympic National Park. The only rain forest in the continental US and it is definitely worth the hype! Note: As of December 2024, this section of the park is unfortunately closed indefinitely due to a road washout. If you're interested in visiting this part of the park, we highly recommend you check with a Park Ranger at the Port Angeles Visitors Center before making the trek.

Ruby Beach

Ruby Beach

Forks, WA 98331

Our favorite beach in the area! Brody loves it too.

Lake Crescent

Lake Crescent

WA 98363

Take a scenic drive to Lake Crescent and stop at Fairholme General Store to rent a kayak on Lake Crescent.

Port Angeles Wharf

Port Angeles Wharf

115 East Railroad Avenue, Port Angeles, WA 98362

The Wharf is a great place to spend an afternoon. Several restaurants, museums, shops, and galleries fill the building on the Port Angeles Pier.

Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge

Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge

554 Voice of America Road West, Sequim, WA 98382

One of our favorite hiking trails in the area! The Dungeness spit extends 5.5 miles and protects hundreds of species of wildlife.

Olympic Cellars

Olympic Cellars

255410 U.S. 101, Port Angeles, WA 98362

Our favorite winery in the area! Join us here for our Welcome Event on Friday.

Purple Haze Lavender Farm

Purple Haze Lavender Farm

180 Bell Bottom Road, Sequim, WA 98382

Sequim, WA is the Lavender capital of the US. The fields won't quite be in season yet, but we encourage you to swing by their shop for some Lavender treats.

Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market

85 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101

If you have extra time to spend in the city, we recommend swinging by Pike Place Market for a meal or some treats.

Space Needle

Space Needle

400 Broad Street, Seattle, WA 98109

We'd be remiss if we didn't recommend stopping by the Space Needle on your way through Seattle! Travel to the top for a view of Mount Rainier and Seattle.

North Cascades National Park

North Cascades National Park

WA

If you decide to extend your stay in the area and you're looking for more National Park adventures, we highly recommend North Cascades National Park. One of the least visited National Parks in the US, it is a gem to be explored.

Mount Rainier National Park

Mount Rainier National Park

WA

If you're looking to explore more of the area and love a good scenic drive, we highly recommend making your way to Mount Rainier National Park.

For all the days along the way
