Tarik and Daniel first met as young anteaters (ZOT ZOT). They went on to build a beautiful relationship fueled by their love for one man... Messi! Whether it was studying physics till they went insane, living with Terry on Spreckles Lane, watching Chumlee stuck inside, or flying over Mexico on a hot air balloon ride - these friends love to kick a ball, but more importantly, they've been through it all.

I was formally introduced to Tarik through our good friend and his best man, Daniel Santiago. My first impression of Tarik was that he really likes soccer and, more importantly, he really loves Karina. However, after hanging out with him, living with him, solving V= IR, and tackling escape rooms together, I can confidently say that we are definitely good pals. I believe he would consider me one of his fun friends ;)

Jess met Karina when Karina came in for a belay test while Jess was working at the UCI climbing wall. They found out they were both learning how to surf and haven't stopped surfing together since.

I first met Tarik while working at Northrop Grumman. We started playing ping pong during and after work to help cope with our busy jobs. Eventually our shared interests extended to running on LA beaches and rock climbing at local gyms. Although we both moved to different cities, our friendship remained strong. We continue to stay in touch, often planning trips to meet up and explore new outdoor activities together.

Tarik and I met during our first year at UC Irvine where we bonded over the pain of having fun in school while getting an engineering degree. We've both had many highs and lows since then but stuck through it all. Now we're both bay boys and I look forward to being able to celebrate his new journey in life with Karina!

Helen & Karina first locked eyes in the parking lot of the Habit Burger Grill in 2019, and the rest is history. The two best pals enjoy traveling, giggling, one last round robin, and rigging game tournaments so they can always be on the same team.

The first time I met Tarik is when my mom was driving me to kindergarten and we saw Tarik and his grandma walking on the side of the road. So my mom stopped and picked them both up and Tarik and I chatted the whole way. Longtime friends ever since.
