If you have questions ahead of time, the happy couple is glad to answer. As for the day of, call anyone but them! Jan, the Mother of the Bride's number is (903) 824-5612.
Question

Where can we park?

Answer

We ask, 1st & foremost, that you consider carpooling/biking/Ubering rather than driving yourself if at all possible - it's better for the environment & for humankind if you plan on drinking! However, through some groveling, we've managed to secure what we believe should be enough parking. The 1st parking to be filled will be Lynn's Place cul-de-sac itself (which is where you will access the entrance to our yard). Please be courteous to our neighbors & do not block any driveways/cars in. This includes our driveway! We want to preserve a close space for Chef Maudie when she arrives with catering after the party begins. Next, Gifford Ave is a gravel road across the street. Please perpendicular park on the grass & fill in the spots closest to Deane 1ST. Several yards in, there is a gate that is usually locked - we've been gifted permission to open the gate & let guests parallel park ON the gravel road. Do NOT park on the grass or wander into the fields - they are conducting experiments!

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We just want you to be comfortable and relaxed! Our wedding will be very simple - the bride and the groom are the only ones that will be dressed formally (the latter of which still won't be in a suit). Just keep in mind that Arkansas summers can be hot and the mosquitos can be unforgiving. Currently, rain is in the forecast, though there will be a tent over the seating area. Additionally, the ceremony and reception will both be held 100% outdoors on unlevel ground, with the potential to have a few minutes' walk from parking (heels not recommended)! We're always fond of Hawaiian shirts and floral dresses... That said, there are sure to be some yard and board games for your entertainment, so don't wear something that will hold you back!

Question

Can I BYOB?

Answer

Absolutely, bring anything [legal (; ] that will help you have a good time - including games or something for the dessert table, if you like. This is more of a relaxed party than a formal wedding!

Question

What kinds of activities are expected?

Answer

While we won't have a literal dance floor, complete with a paid DJ, we do plan to have a variety of board, yard, and possibly video games for your enjoyment. Dress as you see fit!

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

Cafe Rue Orleans is supplying an assortment of hors d'oeuvres at 7 PM. Not every item will suit every diet so eat with caution if that applies to you! Additionally, there will be an assorted desserts table.

Question

Where's my invitation? When should I RSVP by?

Answer

In hopes of a more sustainable wedding, we have elected to forgo paper invitations and save-the-dates entirely - it's not because you aren't invited! We still want you to RSVP, whether it's a happy acceptance or you're regretfully declining. You can do so by completing the following Google Form at your earliest convenience: (https://goo.gl/forms/nc0gj6OStngiUJUo2). We request that you RSVP by May 1st at the latest - though we prefer to receive your answer as soon as possible so we can be prepared!

Question

Am I invited?

Answer

While we hope to keep our brief ceremony intimate (mostly due to limited space & a long drive), our reception has a very straightforward guest list so that no one felt pressured to attend. The rule is: If you'd like to come and celebrate our love, we're ecstatic to have you, and if it's not worth the drive to you, our feelings are not hurt in the least. It's that simple!

Question

Are kids welcome? / Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! Please just be sure to include them in the RSVP as well or we won't have enough seats. (That said, since we don't have any kiddos ourselves yet, we don't have toys to keep them occupied, so please come prepared, if needed! Some games will be child-friendly - others will not.)

Question

Who's in the Wedding Party?

Answer

In an effort to make our celebration more affordable and relaxing for those closest to us, we're merely requesting their attendance and nothing more. So, the wedding party will just be the groom and the bride - our friends aren't getting out of pictures, though, just the silly outfits! That said, the Honorable Farmer Schlinker has agreed to officiate our ceremony, and we're tickled pink to be married by Destiny.

Question

What will your names be after the wedding?

Answer

Karen & Forrest Follett. Cockrum-Follett just doesn't have a nice ring to it, y'know?

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

At the top of this page, the "Registry" option will take you to home renovation and honeymoon funds. It also provides the link to our Amazon registry if you prefer a more traditional route.
