Shuttle To and From The Wedding at Pippin Hill

We will provide shuttle transportation to and from Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards. Please see below for two pick-up and drop-off options. Please be sure to meet the shuttle promptly at 4:45pm EST. There will only be 1 pick-up time, and buses will depart promptly at 5pm EST. Pick-up Option 1: The Omni Hotel in the Downtown Mall Meet Shuttle at 4:45pm EST Pick up Option 2: The Boar's Head Resort Meet Shuttle at 4:45pm EST Shuttles will also be available leaving Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards back to the Omni and the Boar's Head Resort with two departure options. Departure Option 1: 9:45pm EST Departure Option 2: 11:45pm EST Please note: the departure shuttle for the Omni will drive to the the Late Night bar, The Livery Stable. If you do not plan to take a shuttle, we highly recommend making a plan to get a ride-share (Uber or Lyft) or to drive.

Getting To & Around Charlottesville

Just two hours south of Washington, D.C. and with a regional airport and Amtrak rail service, there are many ways to travel to Charlottesville. Transportation will be provided to and from the Downtown Mall to the wedding venue, Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards. We also recommend having a car or using Lyft / Uber while in the area. Charlottesville also offers free trolley service that serves local attractions and transportation hubs, including the Rotunda and the Corner, the Downtown Mall, the Amtrak and Greyhound stations and West Main.

Charlottesville Albermarle Airport

Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO), served by Delta, United and American Airlines, offers Central Virginia travelers over 50 daily non-stop flights.

Train

Amtrak

The area is easy to reach by rail, with Amtrak (CVS Station) offering daily direct routes (Crescent, Cardinal and Northeast Regional) from New York City's Penn Station and Washington, D.C.'s Union Station.

Flight

Washington, D.C. and Richmond Airports

Ronald Reagan Washington International Airport (DCA) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) both offer many direct flight options. The drive from either airport to Charlottesville is about 2-2.5 hours. The Richmond International Airport (RIC) is another option and is approximately a 1-1.5 hour drive to Charlottesville.
