We can't thank you enough for being part of our wedding day. We know it's a big undertaking to travel, and we are so appreciative that you have chosen to join us. We promise to deliver a fun-filled weekend full of love and laughter!
We’re optimistic that we’ll be able to celebrate safely on June 5. Our venue, Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards, is located on a remote mountainside and has plenty of outdoor space and fresh mountain air; all weekend events will be held at least partially outdoors, weather-permitting. For all events, we will provide PPE for those who wish for it, such as masks and hand sanitizer. We understand that making a decision to attend a wedding doesn’t come lightly and that guests will be making decisions based on their own levels of risk tolerance. To ensure a safe weekend for all, we encourage non-vaccinated guests to obtain a negative COVID test result prior to attending. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly, and please continue to check this website for real-time updates. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
We have Karen to thank for this pairing. She "swiped right" on popular dating app Bumble and sent the first message to Dan. She struck up a conversation about hiking, one of her main hobbies ... or so Dan thought. On their first date, Karen & Dan spent hours at a midtown Manhattan cocktail bar musing about life. It was here that Dan realized that Karen wasn't as outdoorsy as originally advertised, and Karen learned not to challenge Dan in a political debate.
On December 14th, 2019, Dan suggested opening some early Christmas presents. Ever in the holiday spirit, Karen agreed. When Karen reached into her stocking, she pulled out the ring box. She turned around, and Dan was down on one knee with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The deal was sealed, and the happy couple was engaged! And if you're wondering what present Dan got in his stocking ... he can brave the cold weather knowing he has ChapStick in his pocket!
