COVID-19 Precautions: Part 2

The ceremony and cocktail hour are fully outdoors. The reception is indoors; however, we will keep doors open and have a small patio space that folks can use to eat, drink, and be merry. If you feel sick, have any symptoms (fever, cough, etc.,) or have been exposed to someone who has felt sick or tested positive to the virus within the last week, please do not attend. The safety and health of our family and friends is our top priority. We understand if anyone is unable to attend our wedding and ask for your patience and understanding in return as we try to navigate planning our wedding during a pandemic.

Answer

Yes! For your convenience, we have discount codes for two hotels. Please see the ‘Hotel Accommodations’ tab for more information and the direct links to the booking websites.

Question

What is the parking situation for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both held at the Brazilian Room. Parking in Tilden Regional Park (where the Brazilian Room is located) is all free. There is a small parking lot immediately adjacent to the Brazilian Room, and plenty of parking spots available within walking distance. There will be Tilden Regional Park signs directing to the Brazilian Room. If you decide to stay and have a few drinks, we ask that you carpool back with someone who can drive safely or take a ride share. You won’t be able to leave your car at the park overnight, so please be sure to make arrangements to get back to your accommodations after the reception.

There isn’t any dedicated transportation from the hotels to the ceremony, but we do encourage the use of a rideshare service if you’re planning on drinking.

Can I take pictures / post things on social media?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired professionals to capture some of the most important moments in our lives AND we'd like to have you fully experience this with us. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the ceremony photos with you as soon as we can.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes we are! We are registered at Bed Bath & Beyond, Crate & Barrel, and Zola. Please click on the registry tab for details. Please know that your presence and well wishes are gifts enough for us!
