For our Visitors

Just a few of our favorite spots to eat, learn, and experience Hawaiʻi.

Bishop Museum

1525 Bernice Street, Honolulu, HI 96817

Hana Koa Brewing

962 Kawaiaha‘o Street, Honolulu, HI 96814

Hanakoa is owned by Kalā's high school classmate, Josh Kopp and his wife Chrissie. It's also where we met on our very first date together on September 25, 2022.

Honolulu Museum of Art (HoMA)

900 South Beretania Street, Honolulu, HI 96814

Hoʻokuaʻāina

916C Auloa Road, Kailua, HI 96734

Hoʻokuaʻāina stewards an area of land in Kapalai, Maunawili, Oʻahu. They have community workdays each month where you can volunteer in their loʻi (traditional aquaculture system).

Makanai

1249 Wilder Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96822

Our local cafe. Fun fact: Kalā was their 4th customer on their opening day last year and we’ve been going ever since. We love their evening service too for a cute date night.

Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse Trail

Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse Trail, Waimānalo, HI

Niu Soft Serve Parlour

2320 South King Street, Honolulu, HI 96826

Kalā and I love niu for a little sweet treat. Their soft serve is coconut based so it's dairy-free!

Waiāhole Poi Factory

48-140 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, HI 96744

One of our favorite spots for Hawaiian food if you haven't had your fill at the wedding!
