What should we wear?
Answer
Since our wedding is Lord of the Rings themed, we would love for you to dress as you would for the Renaissance Festival or if you were going as a Lord of the Rings character for Halloween (yes, really). This can be as literal as you want, or you can wear something that fits that kind of energy. We ask for no jeans please, and no real weapons! If you're still unsure what this would look like, scroll to the bottom of our Gallery page for attire inspiration.

Wear what makes you comfortable-- we want you to enjoy yourself! But dressing on theme will be even more fun!

What can we expect?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors on a wooden patio up a short flight of steps. There is also wheelchair accessibility if you need it. The reception will be indoor at the same venue, with access to the outdoor patio space, which includes a cobblestone path and grassy areas. The reception will consist of a cocktail hour, dinner, and a dessert table, as well as dancing and karaoke. After the reception wraps up, guests are invited to enjoy a bar crawl with the couple in Morganton, though this is totally optional. We have worked to ensure that there are vegetarian and vegan food options, as well as being nut-free.

I pulled up to the venue, but the name is different. Help!
Answer
The venue, annoyingly, changed their name after we had printed our invitations. It's going from The Venue at Carbon City to The Ivory Mill. If you pulled up to 800 Carbon City Road, you are in the right place!
