Criselda, also known as Dada, is the proud mother of the Groom. She is the youngest of seven children. After moving to the US, she raised Jan as a single mother.

Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and mother of Kalia and Melia. Kelly and Kalia share many traits such as a love for food and cooking, working in the human health services field, and an obsession for animals of all sizes. If you know Kalia's wacky sense of humor, she got it from her mama!

Father of the Groom
In loving memory of Guillermo Burguillos Jr. 1963-1997 Although he cannot be physically with us to celebrate this occasion, we know he is proud of his son.
Stanford Asato
Father of the Bride
Stan, also known as Lani, is the father of Kalia and Melia. He is currently retired, but he would test for water toxicity levels for the LA City Sanitation Department for 30 years. Stan has taken the time to teach Kalia how to ride a bike, drive a car, surf at the crack of dawn, and so much more. Stan is also a fantastic storyteller and is always sending Kalia pictures of all the dogs and fat cats. One of the greatest things Kalia inherited from her father is his laugh.
Alden Esguerra
Best Man
Alden and Jan first met during their first year of their undergraduate. It wasn't until a year later that the two of them actually became friends. Together with Bao Chao, the three of them became inseparable. Although they aren't able to spend as much time together as before, whenever they do get to see each other, it's like no time has passed.
Melia Asato
Maid of Honor
Melia, also known as Mele, is Kalia's younger sister. She currently attends Cal State Long Beach and is double majoring in Community Health and School Education. When she first met Jan, Melia assumed that Jan was one of Kalia's gay friends. Almost 10 years later, Melia's opinions of Jan hasn't changed much. Melia has been a wonderful sister to Kalia and hasn't spilled the beans nor reported her sister to the police for all of the stuff Kalia pulled on Melia.
Sierra Trujillo

Sierra (left) is happily married to Johnnie Trujillo (right). Together they have a wonderful son, Toby (center). Although Sierra has only known Jan for a few years, they've had the pleasure of seeing each other every day at work. The two of them always joke about how Johnnie wishes he was the one marrying Jan instead of Kalia.
Jessica Maness
Bridesmaid
Jessica and Kalia have been best friends since elementary school, thanks to Nicole being a mutual friend. The two grew up being the silly musical friends of the group, and Jessica was always supporting Kalia in pursuing her musical dreams (even though Kalia is completely tone-deaf). When the two aren't talking about wine or sending inside jokes to each other, Kalia can always depend on Jessica for great life advice.
Braulio Garcia
Groomsman
Braulio (left) is happily married to Adalberto (right). The loving couple has been married for several years now. Braulio and Jan met while they were working together in Pasadena. The two of them bonded closely over Pokemon Go. The days spent going around the city during breaks and after work to catch Pokemon were the most fun Jan had during his professional career. Despite all of the fun, Jan knows that if he ever needs an honest opinion, Braulio will never hesitate to provide the straightforward answer he needs to hear.
Nicole Sakioka

Nicole and Kalia met in ballet class when they were 4 years old and have been best friends ever since. Nicole has put up with all of Kalia's shenanigans (especially the embarrassing ones) and has managed to maintain her sanity. When Nicole isn't giving Kalia really good advice on how not to be a butthead, the two love to go on food adventures and will stay up all night talking about the latest webtoon gossip
Bao Chao Wu

Bao Chao and Jan met while attending their undergraduate at CSUF. They connected almost immediately with their shared love of video games. Together with Alden, the three of them became the best of friends. Almost like the Three Musketeers, only Asian, and cooler.
Katherine Renaud

Katherine and Kalia met on a field trip 17 years ago, bonded over the Inuyasha manga series, and have been best friends ever since. Katherine wears the brains in the relationship and was incredibly patient tutoring Kalia in all of her math classes in high school. When the two aren't taking walks around the neighborhood or fawning over Winston, Katherine's dog, Katherine is giving Kalia great career advice or talking about everything under the sun
Carmelita and Cesar Padilla

Adrian Coson is Jan's cousin, and son of Ramoncito and Floramar. He is currently engaged to his high school sweetheart, Michelle, and works as an academic counselor. Adrian was a role model and brother-like figure for Jan growing up. Jan and Kalia are incredibly grateful for Adrian to have such a major role in their wedding.
