One sunny, September afternoon in Elysian Park, Kaley was invited to a Dodger game by a mutual aquatance of Alexander’s. They met outside the gates, and in they went. Alexander got some great seats, and Kaley thought, “who is this guy?” They cheered for the boys in blue over a couple beers, and chatted until the 9th inning. They parted ways, unsure if we would ever cross paths again. Thanks to social media, they kept in touch. Kaley played hard ball for awhile and finally accepted a date almost three years later, and she couldn’t be happier that she did!
What started as a belated birthday celebration for Kaley, turned into a day she would never forget. The celebration led them to The Getty Villa Art Museum, where Alexander got a little flustered during the security check. The attendant was searching his camera bag and insisted on taking out a particular item. Making sure Kaley did not see a thing, he quickly moved her aside and told her to wait off to the side. Not suspicious at all right? Kaley however, had no clue that that item was an engagement ring. Walking through the beautiful grounds, they were finally alone in a secluded garden when Alexander said, "I'm just going to do this!" He sat Kaley down on a bench, and it finally hit her what was in that camera bag! The moment was surreal and sublime as he got down on one knee.
