A great local ice cream shop with 125+ flavors. This is a favorite for many Campbell students!
Raven Rock State Park
This is a local park and hiking trail near Campbell University. It is a family-friendly hike along the Cape Fear River with beautiful views of rock formations. We had a picnic here to celebrate our one-year anniversary!
Texas Pit BBQ
One of our favorite places for BBQ! It’s a local hole in the wall but they have an awesome selection of slow smoked meats and sides.
The Mason Jar Tavern
A great spot for casual for lunch or dinner! They have locations in both Fuquay-Varina and in Holly Springs.
Aviator Brewing Tap House & Kitchen
A casual lunch or dinner spot which is one of our favorites with friends! They have a rooftop pizza bar, a delicious BBQ smokehouse, and tons of local beers on tap!
Inner Beast Hatchet House
A fun activity where you throw axes at targets. There are different games you can play ranging from tic-tac-toe to killing zombies!
Pints Ice Cream & Beer
A great ice cream shop in downtown Fuquay-Varina. They have lots of interesting flavors and also boozy milkshakes!
Daddy D's BBQ
One of our favorites BBQ joints with both Eastern and Lexington style BBQ. You have to try their cornbread fritters!
Bass Lake Park
See where we got engaged! This park is a great place for a picnic, a nice walk, or fishing.
Pimiento Tea Room
A cute tea room in downtown Holly Springs. They offer multiple different kinds of teas and ahhhmazing scones. They also have a great Sunday brunch.
My Way Tavern
This is one of our all-time favorite restaurants! Kaitlyn says you have to order the chicken wings "my way" and Daniel's favorite is the French Dip. They also have a great selection of brews on tap with the majority of them being from NC!
Sir Walter Coffee + Kitchen
A great local coffee shop and a favorite for brunch.

One of our favorites for date night! Daniel has dreams about their amazing sushi
Holly Springs Farmers Market
If you're looking for something to do before the wedding, we love to go to the Farmer's Marker on Saturday mornings! They are open from 8 am to noon and have a ton of great vendors and activities. There is also an awesome Farmer's Market in Raleigh that is open every day.
Sushi Iwa
One of our favorites for a dinner with friends! They have BOGO sushi rolls and a huge menu. Kaitlyn would eat their crab rangoons everyday if she could.
Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen
This is Kaitlyn’s all-time favorite restaurant! She loves it so much she celebrates every birthday here! The menu changes seasonally based on what’s fresh and in season.
Cha House Cary
A favorite for boba tea! Kaitlyn's favorite is the Firework while Daniel loves the Dirty Tiger.
Szechuan Mansion Hotpot
Delicious and authentic Chinese hot pot! You can either select your meat and veggie options or do an all-you-can-eat option. Be careful as it can be very spicy!

One of our favorite places for brunch! They have a few different locations but the one in Cary will be the closest to Holly Springs.

Some of the best ramen in the area! Daniel says it reminds him of his time spent in Japan.
Triangle Rock Club - Morrisville
We love to come rock climbing here with our friends! You can get a one-day pass which includes all necessary gear. It has many different sections including a kid-friendly climbing wall.

Pick your own strawberry farm!
Drive Shack
A fun, interactive golf game! Lots of fun and you do not have to be good at golf to have a great time. Try to make reservations in advance as they can have a long wait.
Crabtree Valley Mall
The closest shopping mall just in case you forgot your dancing shoes!
Raleigh Museums
There are so many awesome, free museums across Raleigh that it is often called the "Smithsonian of the South". Kaitlyn fondly remembers field trips to the Natural Science Museum or the Marbles Kid Museum during her middle school days. Most museums are free but tickets do need to be reserved in advance.

Another awesome BBQ joint! If you make the drive to Raleigh this place is a must visit
