Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear a semi-formal dress or jumpsuit, and gentlemen should wear a sports coat and tie or suit.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Butler Chapel on the campus of Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. The reception will be about a 15-20 minute drive away at Highgrove Estate in Fuquay-Varina, NC.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will take place indoors. The reception hall is inside but we will have access to the outside patio and lawn.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm. We suggest arriving at 4:30 pm so you can comfortably park, find your seat, and settle in.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

For the ceremony, we would suggest parking in the Campbell University Health Center lot or the Convocation Center lot. Limited handicapped parking is provided in the lot behind Butler Chapel. For the reception, parking will be available on location. Parking is free at both locations.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will take pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception venue for the cocktail hour.

Are there hotel blocks reserved?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of rooms reserved in Holly Springs. Please refer to the "Travel" page to view more information. Our discounted rate expires on May 8th so please book before then if you would like to receive this rate.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

We are aware that our out-of-town guests may not be familiar with the weather in North Carolina! It will be most likely warm and humid. Thankfully both the ceremony and the reception will be hosted in air-conditioned buildings. We recommend checking the weather before packing and dressing for the day

What are your COVID-19 precautions?

Answer

At the moment, we are strongly encouraging all guest to become fully vaccinated (and boosted!) or receive a negative COVID-19 test before attending the wedding. We are also encouraging guest to wear a mask if not vaccinated. Assuming circumstances are different by June, we will adjust accordingly. Please exercise caution and respect for others so we can enjoy the celebration without any added stress.

We are registered at Bed Bath & Beyond and Williams-Sonoma. Please click the "Registry" tab for more information.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs must be received no later than May 4th, 2022. You can RSVP by mailing the response card included in your invitation or by the RSVP link here on this website. You only need to RSVP once.

What will be served for dinner?

Answer

Guests will have the option of selecting either pecan-crusted chicken with bourbon sauce and a side of seasonal vegetables or house marinated beef filet tips with herb pan reduction sauce and a side of roasted new potatoes.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Allergy-free or vegetarian meals are available upon request. Please let us know of any food allergies when you RSVP. You may also email kaitlynanddaniel2022@gmail.com to confirm we have received your meal preference.
