UPDATE: Following CDC guidelines, we are asking all guests - regardless of vaccination status - to wear masks indoors when not eating or drinking. We are also are asking anyone who is sick or has been exposed to someone with COVID in the prior 10 days not to attend the wedding. We want everyone to feel safe at our wedding! Please reach out to Katie or Ian with any questions or concerns.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors on the Upper Deck at High Camp. The reception will be indoors at the Terrace Room. Our wedding size will be about 1/3 of the Terrace Room capacity, so there will be plenty of breathing room!
To get to High Camp, you will take an approximately 10-minute tram ride from the Village area of Squaw Valley to the Upper Deck. The tram is part of the experience; we hope you enjoy the views! The tram is shockingly large - it can fit 110 people! - so there will also be lots of breathing room here. It also has windows that allow for a breeze.
Because this year isn't posing enough challenges to event planning, the air quality in the Lake Tahoe area may be poor on the day of our wedding due to wildfire smoke. We are monitoring conditions and will keep our guests updated. We will have our wedding indoors at an alternative location at Squaw should the air quality be too poor for our planned outdoor ceremony.
