Wedding (Private Event)

5:00 pm - 10:30 pm

This is a formal event so think dress pants/suits & nice dresses. Have a dress or suit that you feel great in? Wear it! We aren't picky. We just want you to feel your best!

As you are now aware, we have made some changes. We did this because we want the day to honor God in every detail, and part of that is reflecting who He has made us to be. For both of us, this means slowing down and focusing on connection with the Lord, with each other, and with all of you. We want the day to be filling, memorable, and a reflection of this beautiful covenant that the Lord has called us to. To maintain the intimacy of this ceremony, we kindly request that you bring only the individuals listed on your invitation. Kids are welcome, but we will have a babysitter for the ceremony to limit distractions. There will be a ceremony, dinner, and an hour of worship. We are thrilled to have each of you present as we enter into this covenant that so beautifully reflects Christ & the Church!

After Party

5:00 pm

Very casual! Sundresses, shorts, anything you feel comfortable in. We will have an inflatable waterslide for adults and kids so feel free to bring your bathing suit! If you have ever been to one of my (Kaitlyn's) graduation parties, think of it like that!

As we were planning our wedding, we began to feel a pull to reconsider some of the decisions we had made. After much prayer and careful consideration, we have decided to hold an intimate ceremony on the 22nd. However, we still want to celebrate with everyone, so we have decided to have a big party on the 23rd as planned. This will be a VERY casual, cookout-style event with games, a bounce house, and lots of fun. We want our wedding events to be Christ-centered and focused on connection. We believe that this change will help us meet those goals in the ceremony and celebration by providing a more relaxed setting for us to interact with everyone. Don't worry, we will come dressed in our wedding get-up so that everyone can see and take pictures! We understand that this may come with some disappointment, but we ultimately believe that we must follow our convictions in accordance with what the Lord is leading us to do. We love each of you & hope that you can join us to celebrate!
