For the ceremony specifically, we ask that you keep your phones in your pockets and let the professionals work their magic. Our photography team reserves the right to ask you to put your phone away anytime during the ceremony - this applies to everyone, no exceptions! There will be plenty of time for you to take photos at other events - we appreciate your understanding!
While guests are welcome to wear formal attire from either American or Indian culture, we warmly invite you to embrace this special occasion by wearing Indian clothing! It's a wonderful way to celebrate the culture and add to the joy of the wedding festivities. We do ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, sandals, and white clothing, including white lehengas or saris. We also ask that for the ceremony, guests do not wear hats unless they are religious headwear. If you have specific questions, please reach out to bride and groom!
Yes of course! There are many online or even Instagram shops that have reliable and high quality Indian clothing. Some of our favorites are: Lashkaraa, Kalki, House of Indya, Kynah, Cbazaar, Aza Fashions, and even Etsy! If you prefer to rent, allborrow.com has rental options and there are many other rental companies if you choose to look elsewhere. If you see something you like and have questions, please feel free to reach out to the couple. Additionally, we have put together a Pinterest board to help with Inspiration: https://pin.it/5fmnRvPzz
Due to venue constraints, only the people listed on the invitation are able to attend. If you have a specific circumstance please reach out to the couple!
While this won't be entirely adults only, if we have not specifically reached out to you, we hope you will enjoy this as a weekend get away from the little ones!
