What is a Sangeet? A Sangeet is an Indian wedding tradition that celebrates the union of two families. This joyous event is typically held one or two days before the actual wedding day, where guests can enjoy a colorful celebration filled with music, dancing, and performances. We will be serving up snacks and drinks as well as fun performances!

What is a Baraat? The Baraat, also known as the groom's wedding procession, symbolizes the groom's journey to unite with his bride and the joining of two families. It's a non-stop party filled with music, dancing, and happiness. Guests will dance alongside Nikhil and the families before heading into the ceremony.
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Dress Code: Please come dressed in formal attire - Indian or Western. Ideas for the ladies: floor length or midi dresses, dressy pantsuits, lehengas, or saris. Ideas for the men: suit & ties, sherwanis, or kurtas.
The couple has decided to do a fusion of Indian and American cultures into one ceremony to honor both of their backgrounds.
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
There will be a short break between the ceremony and cocktail hour for guests to rest their legs or grab a snack if they so wish.
