Wedding Party

Alyssa Dixon

Maid of Honor

Alyssa is Kailey’s little sister and best friend. It has never been a question who Kailey’s maid of honor would be from the second that Alyssa was born into this world. Though they fought a little bit (okay, a lot) growing up, they have always been each other’s best friend and go-to. Alyssa was Kailey’s little yes lady when she was little, she just did whatever Kailey said. Kailey was the director of all the dance/cheer routines, she came up with all the little games that they would play, and she even told Alyssa what her fake name had to be. Kailey was always “Rose” and Alyssa was always “Lily”. Once Alyssa got a little older, she realized that she didn’t have to listen to her big sister anymore and the tables turned. Alyssa is now the boss (or at least she thinks she is haha). As the two have grown, they have become inseparable and truly each other’s best friend. Alyssa has been there through it all and she will be right by Kailey’s side on her big day!

Ashlyn Dixon

Bridesmaid

Ashlyn is the bride’s first cousin (who might as well be her sister). Growing up, everyone always thought that Kailey, Alyssa and Ashlyn were the “Dixon triplets” because they were always together. Ashlyn and Kailey have grown up together hanging out in the playroom at Granny and Pa’s, playing/practicing softball, making up random synchronized swimming routines and so much more. Some of their fondest memories were when they would bring the whole family into the living room at Granny and Pa’s to have a “Christmas show” which consisted of Kailey playing “Deck the Halls” on the piano and Ashlyn and Alyssa singing to the top of their lungs. Ashlyn and Kailey have traveled everywhere watching and supporting each other in softball. Kailey is so honored to have Ashlyn stand beside her on her wedding day.

Alexa Muha

Bridesmaid

Alexa is Kailey’s best friend since childhood. The two of them have been friends since they were 6 years old, playing tee ball, baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball and even football together. Alexa and Kailey were always the best of teammates and they are still the best of friends. The two of them saw each other through every stage of life, even the ugly ones. They were friends through the elementary school playground phase, the braces phase, the awkward middle school phase, the high school boyfriend phase, the terrified college kid phase. Okay, you get the idea. They have been through it all together and Kailey is so happy to be having Alexa stand by her on the big day!

Abigail Taylor

Bridesmaid

Abigail was the bride’s first friend in college. The two of them met at Walters State their freshman year and played softball together. Gail and Kailey barely knew each other and decided to take a random trip to Pigeon Forge their first weekend of college. They could not stop talking about anything and everything. That is when they knew that they were going to be best friends and they were inseparable ever since! Kailey is so happy to have Gail standing my her side on her wedding day!

Sarah Kraft

Bridesmaid

Sarah is the bride’s sweet friend from Walter’s State! The two of them played softball together Kailey’s freshman year and became super close when they started traveling and playing games. Sarah and Kailey would always chat it up on the bus, talking about Jesus and getting to know each other. One time, Kailey and Sarah went to hobby lobby to pick out what their wedding bouquet would look like. Now, Sarah is married to the love of her life and Kailey is marrying her’s! Kailey is so happy to be having Sarah stand by her side on her big day!

Cydnee Schneider

Bridesmaid

Cydnee and Kailey met for the first time at the Juco World Series their sophomore year of college. The two had been texting and decided to become roommates because they were both headed to Southeastern Louisiana University on a softball scholarship. When they first met, Kailey thought Cyd was shy and Cyd thought Kailey was Mormon. Neither of those assumptions turned out to be true. The two of them went on to become best friends when they moved in to college. They were both super far from home and terrified but leaned on the Lord and each other and are still doing that to this day! Kailey is so excited to have Cyd stand by her on her big day!

Macie Larue

Bridesmaid

Macie is the bride’s roommate, teammate and sweet friend at SLU. The night that the two of them moved in to college to start their Junior year, they talked all night about their experiences at their jucos and how nervous they were about this transition. They each had taken a leap of faith, trusting God that Southeastern was the right move. They soon realized that He was taking care of them by giving them each other. They became like sisters, spending every single day together, helping each other through the hard moments and overcoming obstacles together. Kailey is so happy to have Macie standing by her side on her wedding day!

Hallie Burns

Bridesmaid

Hallie is the bride’s sweet friend that she met at Southeastern Louisiana University. Hallie and Kailey became super close when they went on the softball team’s annual retreat. The two of them sat together on the bus and talked the whole 3-and-a-half hour trip to Gulf Shores. Hallie quickly became Kailey, Cydnee, Macie and Blair’s honorary roommate. They spent every day together cooking dinner, playing card games, going to Bible studies and talking about life. The two of them were bus parters for every single away softball trip. Hallie and Kailey are now both engaged and get to plan their weddings together! Kailey is so excited to have Hal stand by her on her big day!

Brilee Broussard

Bridesmaid

Brilee is the bride’s sweet friend that she met through softball at Southeastern Louisiana. Brilee and Kailey really bonded over their love for Jesus and their struggles in their exercise physiology class. They were in Professor Sirikul’s 2:00 class on Monday’s and Wednesday’s and they would ride together from practice to class everyday, listening to worship music and cram-studying for their 10 question quizzes everyday. Because of this class and all the “study sessions” that Brilee and Kailey had, they gained a beautiful friendship and a reduced GPA. The two of them were always throwing back flips on the softball field and Brilee even tried to recruit Kailey to cheer (being a D1 cheerleader and softball player was a role only suitable for Bri). Kailey is so excited to have Brilee stand by her on her big day!

Carley Petty

Bridesmaid

Carley is the bride’s sweet friend that she actually met through the groom! Kailey and Carley met when the two of them, Ryan and Micah were headed to a Salt worship night on LSU’s campus. After the summer break, Carley and Kailey were on the FCA leadership team together and they became super close when they went to a Discipleship retreat through FCA. Carley and Kailey realized that they shared a deep love for Jesus and wanted to start a Bible study together. So, they did! Carley and Kailey enjoy going to discipleship with Miss Laura and talking about how good God is!! Kailey is so excited to have Carley by her side on her big day!

Ally Tran

Bridesmaid

Ally is the bride’s future sister-in-law! Kailey and Ally met for the first time in Texas when the two of them were celebrating Ryan’s cousin, Jamie, and her fiancé Bryce’s engagement. Ally and Kailey got to know each other the whole weekend and were so happy to be able to meet each other. Kailey could not be more excited to be gaining Ally as a sister!

Kendall Fontenot

Bridesmaid

Kendall is the brides future sister-in-law as well! Kendall and Kailey met when Kendall flew in to New Orleans for a conference. The two of them and Ryan talked for a while about the ways that God has worked in their lives, how he brings us where we need to be and how sweet of a Father He is. Kailey is so excited to be gaining a sweet sister in Kendall!

Jack Adamson

Best Man

Jack Adamson: Jack is my cousin and one of two glorious best men in our wedding. Jack has been terrorizing me since the day he came out of the womb and if you would’ve told me that he’d be my best man in my wedding when I was 4 years old, I probably would’ve started crying. Despite him bullying me from the time we were young, once I grew bigger than him and he couldn’t take me anymore we quickly grew into best friends. From all the endless FaceTimes, grinding video games, and taking trips to see one another, Jack and I really are brothers at this point. NFL player comparison: Demaryius Thomas Just a guy who has never left his team no matter what always getting the job done at a high level. Reliable, talented, and had to be a life time Denver Bronco just like Jack has been.

Heath Garrett

Best Man

Heath Garrett: My best friend for 8 years and other best man in our wedding. Heath and I share a bond like I’ve never had with anybody else. I’ll never forget meeting Heath in high school in chemistry with Mrs. Cole where we were in the same group project and me and another one of our friends made him do all the work while the 3 of us messed with each other despite just meeting. From that first interaction I knew Heath and I were going to be best friends from here on out. He challenges my ego, matches my energy and randomness, and is one of the most competitive people I know. I am beyond thankful to call Heath my best friend and best man. NFL player comparison: Mike Evans It had to be a Texas A&M Aggie and who better than Mr. 1000 yard himself. Just like Heath, how can you not love Mike Evans. He’s just a great guy and someone everyone wants on their team!

Khoa Tran

Groomsman

Khoa Tran: My other brother-in-law married to my dear sister Ally. From the moment Khoa and I met, the rest was history. From our highly coveted food runs, to Pokémon ROM hacks, and constant wish to see each other, Khoa has adopted the big brother role like no other. I miss him constantly and wish we lived closer but we make the most of what we got. Take good care of my God dogs for me in the meantime! NFL player comparison: Younghoe Koo It had to be someone of the Asian descent and honestly I think Younghoe Koo is very fitting because Khoa definitely gives NFL kicker. Not the flashy guy scoring all the touchdowns, just the guy doing his job at a high level and hitting 50 yarders. Younghoe Koo is a legendary kicker (other than last year on the Giants… yikes).

Cody Fontenot

Groomsman

Cody Fontenot: Cody (or as I call him King Boo) is one of my 2 brother-in-laws and married to my wonderful sister Kendall. Cody and I go together like butter on toast. We have embraced the brother part of brother-in-law but even more so the “bro” part of that. We are consistently discussing anything and everything about practically any sport as well as keeping each other up to date on various trades and talking about what we’d do if we were playing or coaching whatever we are watching. Cody, our time in Louisiana together was short, however, I hope to be reunited with you and Kendall soon. NFL player comparison: Steve Young I wanted to give Cody a Saint or an LSU Tiger but winners win and Steve Young did just that. With all our days of throwing the football together, I know that Cody’s left-handed spiral would’ve translated to the league and with your exceptional leadership qualities, there is no doubt Cody would’ve won a few Super Bowls like Steve himself.

Justin Wallis

Groomsman

Justin Wallis: My oldest cousin who has always been like an older brother to me. Justin is someone I always looked up to as we have lived very similar lives both playing baseball our whole lives and throughout college as well. Justin paved a path that I followed and passed down everything he learned to push me in my athletic career. From the early days playing badminton in our front yard, to us visiting what felt like every college in Texas together, and to now both being married men (well about to be married for me), I can truly say Justin has always been there for me. NFL Player comparison: Jaylen Waddle Justin’s favorite NFL player and honestly very fitting. A very quick and shifty wide receiver who has been underrated for how good he actually is. Not the flashiest guy, just someone you can know and trust while he’s out there that nobody is ever going to complain about because he does what he’s supposed to very well.

Aiden Huerta

Groomsman

Aiden Huerta: One of my absolute best friends from Katy, Texas and my favorite teammate I’ve ever had. I’ll never forget when Aiden and I first met, I asked him to be my throwing partner freshman year and he very hesitantly said yes (he later told me he didn’t really want to say yes because he thought I was bad lol). Well 9 years later, 2 D1 careers finished, many homers hit, many strikeouts thrown, a lot of people proven wrong, and my throwing partner from freshman year is still one of my best friends today. NFL Player comparison: Micah Parsons I’m going with the former Dallas Cowboy who’s got a motor that just doesn’t quit. Constant pressure and makes everyone around him better. Having this guy on your team instantly makes your team better, plus he’s a ton of fun off the field.

Micah Miller

Groomsman

Micah Miller: My college roommate and one of my best friends from Southeastern. First thing I need to say about Micah, I have never in my life seen someone who can eat so much food. Now that we got that out there, Micah is my brother in Christ and someone who has pushed me heavily in my faith. He is steadfast and always holds me accountable and has ultimately changed who I am for the rest of my life. I could’ve have asked to have met anyone better than Micah at Southeastern (well except Kailey hehe) but seriously this guy is unreal! NFL Player comparison: Jeff Saturday Micah was on the line in high school and I’d still want him protecting me now. If I’m Peyton Manning, then give me the hall of famer who protected him for all his glory years on the Colts. That duo is lethal, just like Micah and I.

Austin Harper

Groomsman

Austin Harper: One of my best friends from Louisiana and FCA leader with me. Austin has been one of my favorite people I’ve ever gotten to know. He was very quiet and short-spoken when I first got to know him and now whenever I see him I feel like we can never stop talking. Austin has some of the most profound knowledge of scripture I know from someone this age and his steadfast spirit and wisdom have always pushed me in my faith. He has quickly grown in to one of my best friends and someone I crave to have around me and my circle. I advise everyone to get an Austin Harper in their life, you won’t regret it. NFL Player comparison: Joe Flacco Both guys are well above 6 feet tall and I’d have to imagine Joe Flacco off the field is a lot like Austin Harper. Plus, if you’ve ever seen Austin Harper throw a javelin then you know he’s also throwing deep bombs to Torrey Smith and Anquan Boldin and getting himself a Super Bowl ring for doing it.

Jacob DeLaughter

Groomsman

Jacob DeLaughter: Another one of my best friends from Louisiana and one of the funniest dudes I know. Jacob and I met through Micah at Southeastern and it was love at first sight. We instantly became best friends and have been able to help each other grow as men throughout the entirety of our relationship. We also get to work together which has made the real world even more fun. If you see Jacob at the wedding, he’s the guy on the dance floor hitting the dougie. NFL Player comparison: Nick Chubb Funny name but if you’ve ever seen this guy lift weights then you’d know it’s almost as much as Jacob. Two dudes who are absolutely shredded and I know Jacob would be running in between the tackles plowing through guys just like Nick Chubb does.

Liam Curran

Groomsman

Liam Curran: When I tell you Liam and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember… I mean it. One of my first ever friends and for 14 years in Washington we were inseparable until I had to move. From many sleepovers growing up to our catch up calls and fantasy football chats now, Liam has always been someone I knew would be there for me no matter the circumstance. Miss you bro and for Tina and Andy (Liam’s parents), y’all did a great job with this one. NFL Player comparison: Gardner Minshew Liam’s icon, a Washington State legend, and a sick mustache. If Liam’s player comparison was anyone other than Gardner Minshew, we’d have some serious problems. He’s one of our favorites ever and even though he’s a backup QB now, he’s still #1 in our hearts.

Garrett Donohue

Groomsman

Garrett Donohue: One of my childhood best friends from Washington. Garrett was one of my closest friends growing up and our relationship really took off when we transferred elementary schools together in the 4th grade. Since then, we have were best friends and I even got invited into the Donohue fantasy football league as a result! We have now been in that fantasy league 10 years together resulting in endless scheming, heartbreak, trades, and trash talk between Garrett and I. Fun fact: Garrett was like 5’1 throughout high school and is now almost as tall as I am. NFL Player comparison: Baker Mayfield Baker Mayfield was the reason Garrett secured his 2nd Family Fun Ball Fantasy Football Championship trophy and I think they would have similar play styles. A healthy amount of trash talk, bad interceptions, and 4000+ yard passing seasons seems like the perfect person to align with Garrett.

Parker Feltner

Groomsman

Parker Feltner: Kailey’s little cousin who is like a little brother and is now my little brother too. Parker and I hit it off instantly, messing around and being kids together. I love getting to match his energy and be there to support him however I can. Parker and I have had many FaceTime calls together and a great time when I’ve been in Hazard and been able to see him. When I asked Parker to be in my bridal party, his exact words were “Do I have to wear a suit?” (which I obviously responded with yes) then he said “Then I’m not doing it.” Sorry Parker but welcome to the bridal party! NFL Player comparison: Cam Skattebo A young and reckless rookie who has a small sample size in the NFL but appeared to be very promising in his first season. Cam Skattebo is also unhinged off the field which definitely matches Parker too!
