While on our third trip to Sweden together in September 2021, we booked an overnight stay and spa package at Hotel Skansen. Before our dinner reservation at their restaurant, Sand, we went for a short walk up the hill from the hotel. Gustav stopped me in the middle of the street, took my hands, said a few very kind words, and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He had a photographer hiding around the corner. She took a few secret photographs of him proposing, and then took more photos of us directly afterward!
