10:00 am - 11:30 am
American Formal
All guests should arrive on time for this mass service. Guests of any religious background are greatly welcomed as this ceremony will be designed for newcomers and address possible language barriers (Khmer & Spanish). We will ask all of our guests to honor the rules of a Catholic Church including silencing cell phones, refrain from taking photos/videos until the ceremony has ended, and to remain in their seat for the full hour. Light refreshments will be provided after mass.
2:30 pm
Khmer Traditional - Bold Colors
Each ceremony will have an interactive component for our guests and will involve the wedding party in multiple outfits. We ask our guests to stay in one outfit for the duration of all Khmer ceremonies to help maintain a timely schedule. For our non-Khmer guests, you are more than welcome to find traditional attire (see photos on Dress Code page) but we understand the difficulty of obtaining, especially in the US. Feel free to honor the tradition by wearing bold colors (including gold) in formal attire. We simply ask that no black is worn out of respect. Groom's Parade Monk Blessing Hair Cutting Ceremony Knot Ceremony Doors to the venue will be opened at 2:30pm & will have a coat check for all guests. There will be one "intermission" for guests with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages provided.
6:00 pm
No Dress Code Rules!
After the Khmer ceremonies have ended, additional dressing rooms will be opened for guests who want to change into their party attire. "Party Attire" could means any color, culture, style, etc or your original outfit. We want all of our guests to feel completely comfortable and themselves (keeping in mind that it is still a wedding).
