Lake Day

Lake Irwin is an alpine lake, meaning it is cold year round. Still swimmable, but be prepared! Crested Butte is considered one of the last true Colorado mountain towns. Due to that, a lot of the cool spots are not built for a large amount of visitors. Lake Irwin is very limited on parking and a public space. So please, plan ahead and carpool if you choose to join us for a day on the lake! If interested, there are places in town that offer kayak and paddle board rentals.
