Getting Here: By Air The closest major airport is Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), located approximately 30 miles from Amelia Island - about a 35–40 minute drive. JAX is served by all major airlines with direct flights from cities across the country, making it the easiest option for most guests. Transportation to Resort We are currently looking at possible transportation options between Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and the resort, and will update this page as soon as details are confirmed. In the meantime, rental cars, rideshares (Uber/Lyft), and taxi services are all readily available at JAX. By Car Amelia Island is easily accessible via Interstate 95, with State Road A1A leading directly to the island. GPS-friendly and a beautiful drive!
