For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at Delta Hotels by Marriott in Richmond, VA. Please use the link below to make your reservation. Be sure to book your hotel room by September 29th, 2023 in order to receive the discount. We recommend guests stay in downtown Richmond at this hotel or one of the many others nearby (or even in the Fan/Carytown area) to enjoy what Richmond has to offer. Other lodging options are available closer to the venue, in Chester, VA, if guests prefer a shorter commute.

This is our hotel block available to guests until September 29th, 2023. The shuttle will pick up from this hotel before and drop off after the wedding to transport guests from downtown Richmond to the ceremony location in Chester, VA (it's about a 35 minute ride).

We recommend this hotel if you prefer artistic boutique hotels. This hotel is very popular in Richmond for a good reason. There is also a wonderful rooftop bar overlooking the city! Located a little over a mile from the Delta Hotel (about a five minute drive).

Located in Historic Shockoe Slip, this hotel sits on beautiful cobblestone streets lined with a multitude of shops and restaurants. It's a short 0.5 mile walk to the Delta Hotel for the shuttle.

Another option to guests is to rent an Airbnb if you prefer non-traditional lodging options (this can also provide more unique stays at a cheaper cost). Some great areas to look in Richmond include the Fan, Carytown, Shockhoe Bottom, Churchill, and the Museum District.

Greater Richmond Transit Company Pulse

The GRTC Pulse is a rapid transit system along Broad Street and Main Street that connects the western and eastern edges of downtown. The fare is $1.50 per ride. Please see the link attached to see more details about the bus route. Private Transportation

Richmond, VA is a very driveable city. For out of town guests, we would recommend renting a car only if you want to explore areas outside of the downtown Richmond area. There are many things to do if you take a longer weekend to travel - see our recommended things to do list! Uber and Lyft service are easily available to get around the city and can be affordable barring peak times (usually midnight and later).
