Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Amanda Spangler and Justin Bartee
We're so excited to have our friends and family from out of town visiting Pittsburgh! See below for some of our favorite activities and food in the area.

Restaurants Near the Hotels

There are plenty of excellent restaurants near the venue/our hotel blocks. We love Nicky's Thai Kitchen, Condado Tacos, Meat & Potatoes and Sienna Mercato. For cocktails or small plates we recommend Bridges & Bourbon, or Barcelona Wine Bar. There is also no shortage of food, coffee and cocktails about a half mile away in Market Square.

Carnegie Museum of Natural History

4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Visit Mandy's favorite attraction in the city, where you can see the first-ever discovered T-Rex, and the (Pittsburgh) famous Diplodocus Carnegii skeleton, Dippy.

The Strip District

46 18th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222

The Strip District is a Pittsburgh staple! We recommend trying the Primanti Brother's location in the Strip District, and taking a walk through the local Pittsburgh shopping while you're there. If you're there in the morning, try breakfast at Pamela's Diner!

The Andy Warhol Museum

117 Sandusky Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

Visit the largest collection of Pittsburgh-born artist, Andy Warhol!

Duquesne Incline

1197 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

Try riding Pittsburgh's incline (famous from Mr. Roger's Neighborhood) up to the top of Mt. Washington for the best views of the city.

Heinz History Center

1212 Smallman Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222

Visit our local history museum to learn about Pittsburgh's history and the history of our sports teams!
