Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire for the wedding is black tie optional. If you will be attending the welcome party the evening prior, please dress in cocktail attire!

Where should I park? How should I get from the hotels to the venue?

Answer

There will be complimentary parking available in the upper lot at the Pennsylvanian, located directly outside of the rotunda, guided by a parking attendant. If you are staying at one of the hotel blocks, there will be a shuttle available at the entrance to the Omni, Hotel Monaco, and AC Hotel. Please see "Parking and Transportation" tab for more details. The Westin Hotel has a back entrance located directly across the street from the Pennsylvanian, providing for easy walking distance.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive no later than 4:15 P.M., as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 P.M.

How should I get to the welcome event?

Answer

The welcome event at the Grand Concourse in Station Square is a very short drive or uber from any of the hotels. For the welcome event on Friday, there is plenty of parking available in Station Square, with an outdoor lot, as well as a parking garage nearby. The Grand Concourse also offers valet parking. The "T" (Pittsburgh's subway system) has a station directly across from the Omni hotel, Steel Plaza Station. If you'd like to take the T, any outbound T train (Red, Blue or Silver) heading toward the South Hills can take you a short three stop ride to "Station Square," right near the venue.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors under the rotunda at the entrance to the Pennsylvanian. While we will be shielded from any precipitation, a breeze is a possibility! Following cocktail hour, the party will move inside the ballroom for dinner and dancing.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Please feel free to take photos and videos throughout the day (and please share with us!), but please be sure that if any photos are taken during the ceremony or reception, all shutter sounds/cell phone noises are turned completely off.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have secured wedding rates at multiple hotels local to the venue: Omni William Penn, AC Hotel Pittsburgh, and the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh. The wedding will take place during the same weekend as the 2026 Pittsburgh Marathon, so we encourage guests to book hotel stay as early as possible to secure the best rates!

Can I bring a date?

We are generally unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your invitation (though please reach out if your invitation was unclear or if you would like to request a plus one).

Are children invited?

While we adore all of your little ones, we have opted to keep the evening an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the evening. Thank you for understanding!
