Cenotes is the Spanish word for "sinkhole." These natural, limestone caves and caverns contain crystal-clear water that are great for diving, snorkeling, and swimming. There are many gorgeous cenotes in the area, and we recommend Gran Cenote and Cenote Dos Ojos, both about twenty minutes from the resort.
