Maid of Honor
I met Emilie in middle school when we both thought Hollister shirts and blue eye-shadow was a good idea. In the early days, you could find us riding bikes across town or plotting ways to annoy my brother. Since then, we’ve been roommates, world travel partners, plus-ones on each other’s family vacations, and everything in between. Now, I am just figuring out how I am going to survive when Emilie moves to Costa Rica.
Best Man
Jibs and I met in 3rd grade when we were fighting over the same lady. I think I let him have her (worked out well for me). Jibs is currently studying Physical Therapy at the University of Delaware and is a big animal lover. If you need a conversation starter just show him a picture of your dog and you’ve got yourself booked for the next 30 minutes.
Bridesmaid
Tori and I met online. Not long later, we found ourselves moving into our shoebox-sized room together for our freshman year of college. At one point we had both a mini trampoline and a kitten living in that room with us. Tori is a first-grade teacher which is fitting because she has the biggest heart and always celebrates the little moments. She'll probably bring her own charcuterie when we're celebrating the biggest moment yet!
Groomsman
Chan the man. Chan has been my longest friend on the list. We met in kindergarten timeout when we couldn’t share the blocks together. Chan is an up and coming professional golfer with wins on the Latin America tour and the Canadian tour with many more to come. If you haven’t seen some pics of his dog Reese you might live under a rock, as he and Michaela have daily photoshoots. Find him at the wedding practicing his swing or stretching his back.
Bridesmaid
Skylar is a cousin by blood and a bestie by choice. She is a year older than me which is probably why I try to follow in her footsteps for basically everything. Yes... she got engaged, and it took me a mere 3 months to follow suit. If we’re together, you can find us by following the sound of laughter. Oh, and we share a mean handshake.
Groomsman
Josh is another elementary school buddy. Together with Jibs and Chan, the four of us survived Hidden Oak, UF gamedays and numerous eventful camping trips. Josh is a big basketball fan and will probably tell you about his 6th grade YouTube video, Buttery Ballin, by the end of the night. You can find Josh at the wedding either near the beer bar sipping on IPAs or on the dock fishing.
Bridesmaid
Hannah and I met at college orientation. We bonded over our shared love for sleeping, movies, and dance videos. Despite our love for all things lounging, this girl has been my all-time adventure buddy. Whether it was jumping out of a plane, camping on the beach, or exploring Asia, Hannah's by my side. If you're looking for her on the dance floor, she's the girl who knows the lyrics to every song.
Groomsman
Emile and I met at college orientation and survived four years together. We had the same major and took all of our classes together, which made cramming for tests a little more bearable. Emile is studying to be a Physician Assistant in Tennessee. If you’re not interested in drinking at the wedding, steer clear of Emile because you will inevitably find yourself knocking a few back with him.
Bridesmaid
Paige and I met our first week of college and she completes the traveling trio alongside Hannah. Not only does she push me out of my comfort zone (ask us about Thai massages) but traveling with Paige means everything is planned before I even think about it. This type-A queen also gives amazing advice, keeps me up to date on all current events, and is the spunkiest accountant I know.
Groomsman
Adam and I met in middle school when I was envious of his hair. He had the fro of all afros. He is currently studying to be a lawyer in Montana. If you haven’t heard of him you might have heard of his grandma, Grams, she is the more popular of the two. Adam is one of the nicest guys you’ll meet and someone who is down for anything you suggest, as long as food is involved.
Bridesmaid
Rachel was my “blind date” sophomore year roommate who turned into a lifelong friend (and roommate for another two years). She's a tall blonde bombshell on the outside, and a goofy goober on the inside. She can quote The Office, rock a banana suit, and truly brighten anyone's day (especially mine). She's the life of every party so look for her leading the conga line at the wedding.
Groomsman
Alex is my younger brother and probably the smartest of the three. He is on track to graduate early with a computer science degree from Florida Poly Tech so if you feel like speaking code or nerding out over computers he is definitely your guy. Alex can be a little shy at first, but just give him a couple fruity drinks and he’ll talk your ear off.
Bridesmaid
Kelsey is my longest friend. We met in 1998 when we were only two! Where there was an Anhalt, there was a Jones and that meant we were lucky enough to do everything together, including attempting to make our own Reese's cups. Now, Kelsey is a school counselor, a proud dog mom, and still that same supportive friend.
Groomsman
Zach is my youngest brother but the tallest of the three (I’m still hoping for a late growth spurt). If you need to find him around the wedding just look up. Zach has been fifth wheeling for the last four years with Kendal and I as well as Alex and his girlfriend, so if you know any single ladies help a brother out.
Bridesmaid
I met Adrienne in middle school and if anyone can claim credit for Justin and I dating, it would be her. She played matchmaker when Justin and I were just friends and asking for advice on each other. We may have jumpstarted her career as she is studying to be a marriage and family counselor. Not only is she good with words, she sports a big smile, and makes the most of every moment. If Adrienne gives a speech it’ll probably end in Roll Tide.
Groomsman
Landon is my future brother-in-law, he made the list because Kendal decided to have eight bridesmaids and I ran out of friends. Just kidding, Landon is the man. He is a wizard with the camera and has his own video-production company. If you need any work done or want to check him out, you can find him at digitalpeakproductions.com
Witness
Ashley has been my friend since we were in elementary school and she shares my love for the ocean, recreational water sports, and travel. Ashley turned her love into a career as she is a marine science major at the University of South Carolina. Catch Ashley signing our marriage certificate as our witness!
Ring Bearer
Cash is the offspring of two of the coolest people we know: Remi and Kasey. Remi (and Madison) are the big sisters Kendal never had while growing up. Little Cash man is sure to steal the show. He's got the charm, the dance moves, and the best hair this side of the Mississippi.
