Semi-Formal attire, shoes are optional! We want everyone to look and feel their best, but also want to keep it comfy with the sand between the toes vibe!

Answer

On the beach at the SurfSand Resort! Hotel accommodations can be made at the resort and a block of rooms have been reserved for this wedding! The ceremony will be outside on the sand with a reception to follow inside the tide pool dining hall. Dinner will be provided.

Question

Do I have to wear shoes?

Answer

Nope :), as part of the "Beach Formal" dress code shoes are optional! However please still dress nicely and look your best within reason

Question

Will food be provided after the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be using The Wayfarer as our catering company. Please make sure to get your RSVP in before June 28th so we can ensure we have enough food for all!

Question

What's the weather like on the Oregon Coast in August? I've heard it's unpredictable...

Answer

Good Question!! While the Oregon Coast weather does have a mind of it's own; with our extensive research of being on the coast in August every year for the last 7 years in a row we would advise planning for the following: *Morning Time: 50ish degrees likely foggy *Mid-Day: 65ish Degrees sunny (most of the time!) with a possible slight breeze *Evening: 60ish degrees sunsetting, and warm sand (maybe a slight breeze but will likely have died off during the day) *Night time: 50 degrees ish, pack a light jacket or coverup, we will have a beach bonfire present for those who dislike the chillier air.

Question

Is this wedding alcohol free?

Answer

For the most part yes! We are not permitted to have alcohol during the reception and ceremony. However afterwards at the bonfire it’s BYOB.
