Our Wedding Party

Our wedding party is made up of some of the people we love the most, who have supported us both unconditionally over the years. We'd like to say a special thank you for their love and support throughout our wedding weekend and beyond. Here's what they have to say:

Claudia Gould

Best Woman

Hi I am Claudia I am so incredibly honoured to be apart of Justice and Ethan’s big day! I first met the gorgeous bride at a good ol’ fashion rodeo in Queanbeyan. After few more meetups and chats we discovered we were kindred spirits, soulmates even (sorry Ethan and Matt)! Our shared background of the outback and love for country music were just stepping stones to our now ever lasting friendship. Can't wait to share this special day with the amazing Bride and Groom!

Mitch 'Mitchy' Trinder

Best Man

I first met Ethan when he was back classed into my class at RMC and truth be told our first conversation had something to do with Star Wars and Gaming. Since then, those topics have tended to dominate our discussions, whether it be about the latest Star Wars video game or organising a session of Hell Let Loose. Naturally, Jussy would enter left of stage and become very well acquainted with my fiancé Chanté. My favourite memory of these two would have to be after an Army EOY event, cyclone Justice took us all by storm and put on a show in the Maccas drive through on the way home, throwing up all down the door of my car. The image of Jussy’s chin resting out the window of my car with vomit seeping out her mouth is seared in mind! Of course, this not being Ethan’s first rodeo with Jussy, he was very supportive of her during this hilarious moment. Looking forward to sharing in their special event that is the start of the rest of their lives!

Bridesmaid

Although I don’t have my first memory with the beautiful bride (given she was a whole grown child while I was a mere baby), I am ecstatic to cherish this memory with both Ethan and Justice for years to come. As the younger sister, it has been my legal duty to laugh, cry with and annoy Justice all through out our lives and I’m please to report a positive track record! I will never forget the nights we spent curled over in laughter with permanent markers in our hands and stained faces, and I can’t wait to make cleaner, but nevertheless timeless memories with the couple to be!

Sam 'Peth' Petherick

Groomsman

I first met crispy through our initial military training in 2018. We got off to a bad start with a bit of beef on the drill square however quickly became good mates shortly thereafter. I’ve known Justice and Ethan since they first started seeing each other. Loving to entertain close friends I’ve had many a late night drinking, joking and laughing with them. Of the many memories my favourite is definitely snowboarding Koscioski with both of them in July 2021. It was an awesome time and I really got to see both of their adventurous spirits together.

Angelique Crisp

Bridesmaid

Hi! I’m Angel, the unfortunate (😉) younger sibling of Ethan. Growing up with him has been an adventure—mostly for my patience—but despite all the teasing, unsolicited life advice, and his lifelong belief that he’s always right, I wouldn’t trade him for anything… well, maybe... Then came Justice, the saint who somehow manages to keep him in line. She’s the only person I’ve ever seen successfully ground him and for that alone, I think she deserves a medal. She keeps him balanced, makes him slightly more tolerable, and honestly, we should all be thanking her for that. I’m beyond excited to officially welcome her into the family and be a part of their special day—though let’s be real, she’s been stuck with the Crisps for a while now. Wishing these two a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness. Cheers!

Toby Searson

Groomsman

I remember that day at Norm Rix Park on the Gold Coast when I first met you’re beautiful boy Zues, It was such a memorable experience, especially since I had never really been a dog person before. My whole life revolved around cats before that, so walking into that park and meeting your new German Shepherd, Zeus, was a real eye-opener. When Ethan cheekily asked if I could lift him, I gave it a shot, but out of habit when putting him down again, I dropped him thinking he’d land on his feet like a cat. Well, I quickly learned that dogs don’t quite work that way. I dropped poor Zeus, and he crashed to the ground, giving me the most incredulous look I've ever seen on a dog’s face, along with mum and dad. It was a funny moment, but I felt terrible at the same time, an unforgettable introduction to the world of dogs and one of the many great memories I have with you both ❤️ Congratulations on your beautiful union, I’m so thrilled for both of you as you embark on this wonderful journey together. May your life be filled with endless happiness, love, and adventure. Cherish each moment, support one another, and make beautiful memories as you build your life as a married couple. Wishing you both a lifetime of joy and shared adventures!

Chante 'Chanti' Khun

Bridesmaid

I first met Jussy through our boys at Duntroon Military College - Mitch (the best man) couldn’t wait to introduce me to Jussy and knew we would click - and he wasn’t wrong! Those early days, when our partners were away training for months at a time, we found solace and companionship in each other. We’d spend countless hours chatting, laughing, and sharing our vulnerabilities, forging a bond that felt like we'd known each other for a lifetime. When our partners were both posted interstate and we both stayed a year longer in Canberra to progress our careers, we became like family. We were each other's rocks, navigating the challenges of military life together and supporting each other to achieve our dreams. Some of my favourite memories include our epic sleepovers, where we’d spend hours laughing, crying, and solving the problems of the world (or at least our own). I can’t wait to see my girl get married to her best friend and partner in crime Ethan, and to have many more adventures with my favourite couple ❤️

Matt 'Gouldy' Gould

Groomsman

I met Crispy at our initial training together, took us some to stop locking horns but ever since our better halves met we have had countless good times together and memories watching over their shenanigans. After getting to know each other there a few friends you will find as loyal and honest as him. Between snowboarding, nights out and covering for each other I’m glad to call Crispy my mate. Here's to the happy couple!

Tamara 'Tam' Lindon

Bridesmaid

Hi! I’m Tamara and I know Jussie and Ethan from Ethan’s time at RMC. I met Jussie at a dining in night where she and I were a couple of the newer partners at this type of affair. She was so open, engaging and kind - just some of the qualities that she possesses. My favourite memories are of Jussie, Chante and I having nearly 4 month long sleepover club while our partners were away. I had never felt so at home; away from home. A noteworthy mention is Jussie cooking the best carbonara I’ve (still) ever had and her excited screams when we’d open a bottle of wine or decide on an order from uber eats.

Andrew 'Treds' Tredinnick

Groomsman

Crispy and I first met at RMC in 2021, and he's been following me around the country ever since. We’ve shared countless great times together, from singing Zombie at Shags, to barbeques in the backyard, it's been a pleasure to spend that time with him, and of course Justice. I’ve genuinely loved getting to know him and Jussy over the last few years and it’s been amazing to watch their relationship grow. I wish them a lifetime of happiness together and am sure their future will be filled with incredible joy.

Alex Martin

The Brides' Blue Squad

I first met Ethan at the gym in Canberra, and soon after, he introduced me to Jussy. From there, everything clicked into place! As someone new to Australia and missing having close girl friends, meeting Jussy felt like finding a missing puzzle piece. We went on a ski trip not long after we met, and by the end of that road trip filled with nonstop conversation, I knew she’d be one of my closest friends. Ethan just had to come to terms with the fact that I was now Jussy’s “girlfriend,” too! Although I only had a year with them before moving away, our bond didn’t fade—if anything, it proved that true friendship is unshakeable, even from a distance. No matter how much time passes, Jussy will always be a person I cherish deeply… and I guess Ethan’s alright too! Two wonderful friends I’m incredibly lucky to have met!
