Benson Sculpture Garden

Free! We love to walk our doggies around here. The path is paved and flat. Fantastic for a little afternoon stroll or picnic. Loveland is the sculpture capital of the US!

Devils Backbone Trail

Great hike. Bring your water, hat and sunscreen. The elevation climb is a little steep sometimes. Take your time and you will be awarded with amazing views!

Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Red Rocks has lots of events going on year round. When there is not an event taking place, it is open to the public to walk the steps and hike around the area. This is about an hour from Loveland.

A must try while you are in town. They are cash only, but have an ATM on site.

Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, Retreat & Wedding Venue

Highly recommend going for a trail ride at Sylvandale! It's a great way to see amazing views and you get to ride a horse while you do it. What could be better? They are open year round. Great wranglers and well behaved horses.

Laramie

The place Julie's Westward tale began. Laramie is a little over an hour from Fort Collins. Laramie is where the University of Wyoming is located. There are lots of cute shops, a handle of decent restaurants and just a chill small town vibe. If you go to Laramie please check the weather report. Roads close often between Laramie and FoCo due to wind and other bad weather.
