Blue Ridge Parkway
The Blue Ridge Parkway is a scenic drive know for its beautiful views and various lookout stops along the way. Due to Hurricane Helene, some parts of The Parkway are closed. We hope to see portions of it back open in time, so we will provide an update as it gets closer. Road Status and Closures are updated frequently at the link below. If you're interested in hiking, reach out and we can give recommendations for trails.
Pisgah National Forest
While most the BRP remains closed, Pisgah National Forest has re-opened and is ready for visitors. Located in Brevard, about 45 minutes south of Weaverville. Several hiking trails are open and there are some waterfalls situated right off the road. Oscar Blues Brewing, Mills River Brewery and Appalachian Brewing are located not far from the forest for a pit stop after your hike!
The Biltmore Estate
Visit the Biltmore Estate for a self guided tour of the historic house and enjoy their beautiful gardens. Tickets are required for entry and must be purchased in advance. House tickets or garden ticket options available and all tickets come with a complimentary wine tasting at their privately owned winery right on the estate. Biking trails and bike rentals are also available. The complete house tour takes about two hours.
Souther Williams Vineyard
Great place to relax on their large outdoor patio and grab a flight of wine and a cheeseboard while enjoying views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Highly recommend the Hike & Sip Tour. It's not a strenuous hike at all, only one steep incline. You'll enjoy a light hike through their property with five stops along the way for tastings. Reservations are required for the hike.
The Omni Grove Park Inn
Highly recommend if you can make a stop here for a drink and enjoy the views from the Sunset Terrace. If you'd like to dine, reservations are required.

Chai Pani Asheville
The best restaurant in Asheville! Indian street food cuisine. Reservations are not accepted and the waitlist can get busy. Plan ahead to get your name in for dinner or lunch time is usually easier. Explore some shops or grab a drink nearby while you wait.
