She investigated his profile and saw he had a dog. “Hmm”, she thought. “If he’s a dog person he’s gotta be a nice guy, right?” Having been down this road before, they knew the routine of modern dating: a great first date, maybe a few more and then it fizzles out. So they both proceeded with caution and hoped this time would be different. They met for a first date at Zen Sushi and Juli instantly liked Elliot’s smile. Juli talked Elliot’s ear off, which as a shy and introverted guy, he appreciated that she did the heavy lifting. Like something out of a Rom Com movie, they watched snow start to fall outside of the window while they talked for hours and felt a great connection. They quickly set up another date and even planned their third date while on their second! They decided to go hiking so that their dogs could meet. Roger & Emma must have known this relationship had potential so they were on their best behavior and maybe even knew that this could be it for Mom and Dad. After a steep 3-mile climb, Elliot kissed Juli at the top of John Rock Mountain and the rest is history. From that day, they became a pack of four.
