As my older sister, I have spent my whole life looking up to her. While the 8 years between us made it difficult to be close when we were young, she has become my go-to person for just about everything when it comes to adulting. I can’t imagine a more perfect person to be by my side on our big day!

Richard is a Michigan State friend, which naturally makes him the greatest type of friend. He may eat slowly, but he thinks fast with a quick wit. I'm excited to have him by my side and teach him how to be an adult!

As resident assistant duty partners, we shared many late nights, including dressing up for Halloween and random crafting on a Tuesday night. Erica is by far the weirdest person that I know, but she reminds me that life is intended to be filled with laughter and the unexpected.

Jeff is Julia’s brother-in-law and is most well known for not smiling in pictures. I enjoy spending time with Jeff and Sara, as well as their small farm that includes two Great Danes, three goats, two donkeys, three pigs and a few cows. Thanks for always filling Julia’s animal needs!

Beth is Zach’s little sister, which means that I am constantly reminding him to be nice to her. She's one to never sit still, always having the bug to travel to new places, enjoy the outdoors, and try something new. She constantly pushes me to be more adventurous and I can’t wait to have her as a sister!

Another Michigan State friend and my sophomore roommate, Kyle has really been the glue that keeps us all sane. Most of the time I forget his real name isn’t actually Coach, and hopefully he can get the crew through our wedding day.

Friends from Grand Valley, Hannah and I became close when we were on the executive board of Dance Marathon together (for all four years!). She and I have spent countless hours together working to fundraise #ForTheKids and dreaming of when we could become real friends. We often joke that she is my female Zach, so it’s only fitting that she stands beside me as I marry him!

Eric is Julia’s older brother and I’m excited to have him as a brother-in-law. Eric loves to cycle and be outdoors, so you’ll likely find us exploring on the wedding morning. I appreciate him coming all the way from Alaska to celebrate with us.

Bex is my sister-in-law and she has a heart of gold. Although I wish she lived closer (especially so we could pick on Eric more often!), I always look forward to the holidays when we can craft and enjoy the outdoors together.

Of course he’s also from Michigan State, Anthony is always sympathetic and makes sure everyone is taken care of, even if it’s inconvenient to him. He’s a loyal friend, my best bet for keeping the other groomsmen in line, and I’m so glad to have him at my side.

Marisa and I on our first day of college in an Honors class. Our professor made her tea to try, but she didn’t like it. I drank her tea while our professor’s back was to us (we didn't want to be rude) and the rest is history. She is a ray of sunshine and the biggest optimist I know, two things I need on my wedding day!
