Here's everything you need to know about how to get to Sayulita and where to stay!

Flight

Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta Airport (PVR), or Lic. Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport is the closest to Sayulita. From there, it's a 40-50 minute drive North to the beautiful town of Sayulita.

Travel Note

Getting to Sayulita

We recommend using a private car service, especially if you are traveling with 2 or more people. You'll need to schedule this ahead of time - we've linked a lot of reputable companies in the "View" link below. They tend to offer complimentary waters and Mexican beers for the journey to Sayulita. The cheapest/easiest way to Sayulita is by Uber. You can also Taxi from the airport but the Taxis will usually be more expensive than Uber. IMPORTANT NOTE: There are no Ubers in the town of Sayulita. You must schedule your return transportation to the Puerto Vallarta airport as you will be unable to schedule an Uber day-of. Your hotel should be able to schedule a return taxi for you once you arrive. Or if you book a private car service you can schedule it round trip.

Travel Note

Where to Stay

One of the most charming aspects of Sayulita is its 'small town' feel. Most hotels are boutique, not resort. At this moment we do not have a room block, however some recommended hotels are Villa Amor, Ysuri, and La Joya Sayulita. Let TikTok be your friend in searching for hotels here they all look so gorgeous! If you have a larger group to stay with we highly recommend renting an Airbnb or VRBO, there are plenty of amazing and affordable options.

Travel Note

Golf Carts and Transportation

Sayulita is a quaint, surf town with unpaved roads and hills. Most of the town is walkable, however we highly recommend renting a golf cart when you arrive to bop around town- ya'll know that's one of our many favorite things about Sayulita!
