Aeroport de Barcelona-El Prat

The airport you will want to fly into is Barcelona's only international airport, Aeroport de Barcelona-El Prat (BCN). It is fairly close to city center, about a 15 minute taxi/uber ride (20 euro) or 20-30 minute ride by train (2 euro) Barcelona city center is about 1 hour car ride away from Blanes, where our wedding will be held. Methods to arrive to Blanes include taxi, train, or rental car.

Barcelona El Prat Airport Car Rental

If you would like to rent a car, we recommend picking up a car directly at BCN airport with pre-booking on booking.com. You can rent a car for ~$20-30 per day. There are several free and paid parking lots in Blanes where you can park your car. There will also be free parking at all the wedding event venues. This is good option if you want to go on road trips to the gorgeous little towns in the nearby area!

Train

Train from Barcelona to Blanes

Take the train line R2N from BCN Airport to Train Station Barcelona-Clot-Aragó. It will take approx 30 min. Transfer at Train Station Barcelona-Clot-Aragó to train line R1, which will take you to the Blanes Train station. It will take approx 1H 20 min. Rate: single ticket 5 zones 7,35 € Once you arrive at the Blanes train station, you will need to call a taxi to take you to the hotel. To call a taxi, call +34972.35.50.50 / +34972.35.27.20.

Shuttle

Wedding Day Shuttle

We will provide a shuttle to/from the Port de Blanes to the wedding at El Convent. The shuttle company is Sagales - this name will be on the sides of the shuttles. Guests staying at Atzavara: A shuttle will be available to bring you to Blanes. The shuttle will depart at 3:30PM and will bring you to Port de Blanes. At the Port, you will board a second shuttle to bring you to El Convent. Guests staying in Blanes: Shuttles will depart from Port de Blanes to bring you to the venue at 3:45 PM. After the wedding: Shuttles will depart El Convent at 12 AM and at 2 AM, and will drop you off at Port de Blanes. Guests staying at Atzavara will board a second shuttle at the Port to return to Atzavara. If you would like to leave at an in-between time, taxis will also be available. Just ask at the bar and there will be someone to call you a taxi. The venue will call taxis to meet the shuttles at the Port. Taxi Information within BLANES

If you are taking a taxi within Blanes, the best place to locate one is at the taxi stand at Placa de Catalunya. At the venue, there will be a person who can call you a taxi if you choose to leave before or after shuttle departures. Just ask at the bar! Most taxi drivers speak english and card and cash are both accepted. Please note that since Blanes is a small town, there is a limited number of taxis available (~30)!
