Circuit de Barcelona
For the F1 fans, there will be a Grand Prix race in Barcelona from the 12th-14th! Before heading to Blanes, experience the rush of a race live by watching a few practice sessions on the 13th.
Jardí Botànic Marimurtra
Located in Blanes, in Costa Brava, the Marimurtra Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens on the Mediterranean. Fun fact, it's just across the water from our venue! At the top of steep cliffs running along the sea, you can enjoy one of the most spectacular panoramic views over the coastline and get to know more than four thousand plant species, most of them exotic, as well as several specimens that are extraordinary because of their age or size. Open: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Blanes Old Village
Between Sa Palomera and the harbor lies Blanes’ characteristic old village - about a 5 minute walk from Hotel Hortizo! It is home to many fine shops, restaurants and tapas bars. Just a block away from the beach is a daily fresh fruit and vegetables market
Platja De Blanes
Charming beach in Blanes, Spain, known for its golden sand, clear turquoise waters, and relaxed atmosphere. This is the beach right in front of Hotel Hortizo! Stunning views of the coastline and easy access to nearby cafes and restaurants.

Cala de Sant Francesc
Small, crescent-shaped beach with fine golden sand and crystal-clear waters that is right by the Marimurtra Gardens. A stunning cove that is peaceful and quiet!
Castell de Sant Joan | Blanes
This is the one of the most distinctive symbols of Blanes. The castell was built in the 13th century and its perfect location turned this building into a strategic point for defending the city back in the day. It also offers stunning panoramic views of Blanes! Open: 6:00 am - 11:00 pm
Lloret de Mar
Just 15 minutes away from Blanes, this lively town boasts beautiful beaches, gardens like Santa Clotilde, and plenty of entertainment options. A unique element of this town is that it has a ton of nightlife.
Girona
If you're looking to extend your trip in the Costa Brava Region, we recommend checking out Girona! 40-minute drive from Blanes- admire the Cathedral (where Game of Thrones was filmed!) and walk along the colorful houses lining the Onyar River.
Tossa de Mar
Another option for if you're looking to spend an extra day in the area. Explore this charming town with its medieval walled fortress, cobblestone streets, and beautiful beaches, just 30 minutes away from Blanes by car or bus.

Barcelona is a no-brainer to visit during your trip over here! There's so much to see and do... including the F-1 Grand Prix taking place June 12-14 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
