When is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

The official RSVP deadline is March 15, 2026, but we would appreciate hearing from you as soon as you have your decision on whether you can attend. It is super important that we hear from you so that we can provide the best experience for the event! To RSVP, please fill out the questionnaire in the RSVP section.

What are the ways to get from Barcelona to Blanes?

Answer

You can get to Barcelona to Blanes by Car, Train, or Bus. The drive by car will take approximately 1 hour. Taxi (130-170 euros), Rental Car (20-30 euros per day) . For more information on rental cars, please see the Travel section. The train from Barcelona-Clot-Aragó station will take approximately 1H 20 and and costs less than 8 euros. For more information on the train, please see the Travel section.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:15 PM, to ensure that you have time to get to your seat. We would love to see everyone at our ceremony, but guests who arrive after the ceremony has started at 4:30 PM will not be permitted to enter the ceremony space.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love kids, we respectfully ask that you leave your children at home for the wedding ceremony and reception as the venue is not ideal for young children. We are grateful for your understanding, and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is extremely limited at the Convent de Blanes. We will provide a shuttle that will pick guests up in Blanes, and will be available to provide rides back after the reception. We recommend utilizing the shuttles, taxis, or Cabify, FreeNow, or Uber.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

For guests staying at Atzavara, there will be a shuttle which will depart at 3:30 PM. This shuttle will bring you to Port de Blanes, where you will board a second shuttle to get to the venue. Please note that the only shuttle returning to Atzavara will be at 2 AM, after the wedding. For guests staying in Blanes, there will be two shuttles at Port de Blanes. It is approximately a 5 minute ride from the Port to the venue. After the wedding, at 12AM and 2AM, shuttles will be available to bring guests back to Port de Blanes. At 2AM, there will also be a shuttle at the Port to bring guests back to Atzavara. Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, dress codes for each event are noted in the Schedule. Specifically, we request that guests dress in Mediterranean Formal attire for our wedding. Think bright, vibrant or airy colors and light fabrics suitable for the Mediterranean summer climate. Kindly avoid wearing white, red, and gold clothing throughout the wedding weekend. Men are welcome to wear light colored and/or linen blazers and sports jackets, tie optional. Please note that the ceremony will be outdoors.

What are transportation options in Blanes?

Answer

Blanes is a very small, walkable town. You can navigate the entire downtown by foot (and it is encouraged!) There are taxis available if you you choose to take a day trip or need to leave the celebrations early to head back to the hotel. No, we encourage you to book your hotel room or Airbnb directly, to ensure you get the best rates and accommodations that work well for you and your group. Please check the Travel section for some suggested hotels.

We’ve heard that FreeNow, Cabify and Bolt are the better ride share app options in Spain. Uber is also available, but may be more expensive.
