FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

May 1st , 2022

Question

What should I wear to a Hindu wedding?

Answer

Embrace the opportunity to wear traditional Indian clothing! Saris, lenghas, kameez, or salwars for women and kurtas, sherwanis, or long-sleeved tunics and pants for men. Bold, vibrant colors are heavily encouraged, but be sure to stay away from white (associated with funerals), black (considered unlucky), and red (the color the bride wears). Formal, yet bright Western wedding attire comfortable enough to dance in also works!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony will be taking place at the hotel, so no transportation should be needed!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking available in front of the venue.

Question

Is there parking available for the Mehndi (Thursday) and Vidhi (Friday) events?

Answer

Parking is available at the Chinese Bible Church, located at the entrance of the the Patel Home neighborhood. A few cars will be taking guests to/from the parking; if you decide to walk, it will take you 6-8 minutes! Parking address: Chinese Bible Church, 28111 W 10 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48336

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer
