When should I RSVP by?

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

Yes! You will not be able to enter the EU unless you are fully vaccinated. By April, fully vaccinated will likely mean a booster as well.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES! Please make sure your passports are up to date and won't expire within six months of your trip.

How much does it cost to stay at Chateau du Doux?

Answer

350€ per person for the entire weekend. That includes three nights at the Chateau, pre-stocked open bar, snacks, and day trip to a nearby French village. Please note again that this fee is per person.

How do I select my room?

Answer

Rooms will be assigned on a first come, first served basis with respect to the number of people in your party. Please reach out to hello@andthenwegotmarried.com to reserve your room.

Do I have to stay at the Chateau?

Answer

Not if you don't want to! While we'd love for all of our loved ones to stay with us on the premises, we understand that it might not be ideal for all of our guests. There are affordable hotels/airbnbs within a 10 to 45 minute radius, so feel free to reach out for recommendations. Please note that if you're staying off the property, you'll definitely need to rent a car.

Is there transportation to and from the airport or train station?

Answer

Once we get an idea of everyone's travel plans, we will help coordinate a shuttle or ride share.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Since we're having such a small, intimate wedding, we're unable to accommodate uninvited guests.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions and we'll pass them along to the caterer.

Is there a dress code for the wedding and rehearsal dinner?

Answer

The wedding dress code is Spring Black Tie. Think tuxes for guys; bright and airy gowns for the ladies. The rehearsal dinner dress code is dressy.
