It a 2-hour drive from Denver International Airport to the wedding venue. Fort Collins is about half way and a good place to stop for any last minute needs, groceries or to gas up.

United Airlines

United has a shuttle system from Denver International to No. Colorado Loveland Airport with you can add on to your ticket and gets you much closer to Fort Collins. It's called "Landline" by United. Search your departure location to FNL (Fort Collins/Loveland, CO) and your flight will include the landline shuttle from DIA to FoCo. There are car rentals and Turos there as well.

Groome Transportation Shuttle Denver International to/from Fort Collins

There is a great shuttle service from DIA to Fort Collins or NoCo Regional airport where car rentals and Turo options are often less expensive. The shuttle cost is about $30. Groome pick up is on the island outside of baggage claim but you need to book ahead. This service is popular and often books up 1-3 days in advance.

15 minutes from the venue in Red Feather Lakes you'll find manicured Fox Acres. It's an excellent lodging option, especially if you're interested in playing a round of golf on one of Colorado's most scenic courses. You just might share the green with a moose or the turkeys. Club Rooms and Cabins at Fox acres are $200-$250/nt. one King or two Queens & family cabins available.

Marr's Mountain Cabins

Quaint and cozy cabins on Ramona Lake in the Village of Red Feather Lakes, just 15 minutes from the wedding venue. Julia's favorite restaurant on the mountain is the tavern on site and she especially loves the mountain medicine mule. Most likely to host our party sometime over the long weekend!

Fort Collins is a 60-minute drive from Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch, the wedding venue. This is our favorite hotel in Old Town Fort Collins. They have a vinyl library and record players in every room!

100-year-old boutique hotel located in the heart of Fort Collins. Enjoy Speakeasy food & drinks plus live jazz at Ace Gillett's in the basement. This is the first place we ever stayed in Fort Collins and one of the best. One hour from the wedding venue at Beaver Meadows.

Travel Note

Car Rental Information and tips

We suggest looking into TURO if traditional car rentals are expensive at DIA. Another option is to take a shuttle to Fort Collins or Loveland/NoCo regional airport transfer center (see GROOME above) and rent a car from the small airport or in Fort Collins at a lower price. Please note that part of the road to Beaver Meadows is gravel but all car types should be fine. While all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive is preferred, it is not necessary.
