What will the weather be like?

Our wedding is planned to take place during the changing of seasons so fall weather can be expected. Anticipate nice days and cool to cold nights. It's a good idea to wear layered clothing, especially in the Rocky Mountains and keep a jacket nearby. There will be significant temperature fluctuations throughout each day but Fort Collins is known for its many days of sunshine. Typically the first snow doesn't arrive until October but keep in mind that the village of Red Feather Lakes is situated between 8,000 to 9,000 feet above sea level so weather patterns can change rapidly.
