For Friday night: We'll be at an indoor / outdoor venue. Wear something light enough in case the weather is hot. We recommend sundresses, sport coats. No shorts or flip flops please! There is no need to wear anything related to the Henna, Julia will hold this part down for the group. For Saturday night: The event will be outdoors under a tent by the lake. We recommend wearing something appropriate for an outdoor formal party, but we encourage you to wear color or patterns or really anything you feel good in. Sunday: Brunch is casual! Come when you wake up or to grab some coffee and breakfast on your way out of town. There is no formal dress code.
We recommend calling an Uber or Lyft as it can be challenging to find parking near Jean-Paul's parents' house.
We are working on organizing transportation for guests staying at the Evanston hotels listed in our room block for August 15th. We will provide more information around transportation logistics closer to that date.
Once the official party wraps we will take drinks and music down to the beach to continue the night! We are working on organizing transportation back to the Evanston hotels at the end of the main event and at the end of the after party.
While Saturday night is an adult party, kids are welcome to join us for the Friday night Henna! Please reach out to Julia or Jean-Paul if you have specific questions.
We recommend using Uber or Lyft to get to the Henna. If you do decide to drive, the River Room at Burning Bush Brewery offers free parking available in the parking lot across the street from their venue. There is also free parking on Rockwell Ave.
