We need a headcount for the caterer about three months before, so as soon as you have those invitations, please contact us. You can also RSVP here on the website and avoid sending out more mail!
There is! Please click on the registry link in the menu above. While the greatest gift is celebrating our day with you, we do appreciate it, and are also taking donations towards our honeymoon!
Please tell us as soon as you have the invitation and know you’re coming. As it turns out, the bride herself has a nut allergy so our caterers are already going to be on alert.
This is a kids-free event. We don’t want you to have to worry about your little ones and would love it if you would come to have a special night out with us!
At this time we are asking you to please limit yourself to only those printed on the invitations. We have a large number of out of town family coming in. We have tried very hard to plan for everyone’s potential dates, but if your situation changes prior to the wedding, please let us know no less than three months beforehand.
Please send in up to three tracks you’d like to hear to (email) no less than three months before the wedding. Our DJ will be using synchronized lights and therefore cannot take any requests the day of. Please don’t be upset if one or more of your songs aren’t played - I’m sure it’s a bop, but there are only so many hours in the reception!
We recommend the Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia, and the Marriot Aloft downtown where the bridal party will be staying. There is also a nice Courtyard Marriott close to the venue site.
We highly recommend you use Uber Events. We have a special code for the night set up which will give you a discounted rate. The code is [insert]
No! While the bride and groom and many of their friends are wonderfully dramatic and theatrical folks, no one should be in costume. This is a wedding, after all.
The theme is “dark fantasy” and possibly “enchanted forest” ish. But by no means do you have to come dressed for said theme!
LARP, or Live Action Roleplay is an immersive theatre experience in which someone takes on a character and becomes them for a weekend. It’s improv, Tabletop RPGs, video gaming, and exercise all rolled into one event. They come in different genres, like fantasy or wild west, or apocalyptic dystopia. See if you can guess which wedding guests are LARPers - it may surprise you to find out who still plays on occasion!
A storyteller is kind of like a screenplay writer/director if the director had to do whatever the actors and audience wanted while still telling their original story. Usually they come up with a sort of basic story for a weekend, a plot if you will, and work with a team of people or the director of the game to come up with it and execute it. It’s not an easy job (except for Gene, who is a natural) - it requires someone highly creative and adaptable who is able to improvise on their feet depending on how the players interact with their plot and characters! It’s a fun job for sure, and often is paid!
