Their story begins...

Salvatore We met briefly a few times at a Live Action Roleplay event in Sparta, NJ, but didn't think anything of it at first. Gene was a talented storyteller who helped run the game, and Julia played the character of a politically-bent elven princess. It wasn't until he took over her backstory, and played the main villain in her plot, that their interactions brought them to speaking more often. What started as three hour phone calls soon metamorphosed into long, cozy diner dates, and eventually, a beautiful relationship.

Julia was suspicious, because normally she is always included in group texts, but this time she was not. Gene told her they would all be in costume, and suggested perhaps she should dress up like when they first met. So she dressed as the elven princess once more, and they toured the eccentric Fonthill castle together. Afterwards, they and their friends sat down for a lovely picnic with fruit and cheese and wine, overlooking the Fonthill property. Their good friend Frank began telling a very distracting story, and suddenly everyone told Julia to turn around. When she turned, she saw Gene kneeling on the ground before her. "Julia, will you be my wife?" Julia said yes. They embraced, and the rest, as they say, is history.
