Question

Which hotel should we stay at?

Answer

To book discounted rooms at Mandalay Bay and any MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas, please use this link: http://www.mgmresorts.com/mbaylove18 While the wedding is at Mandalay Bay, you're more than welcome to book at any other MGM Resorts properties. Please make sure you plan ahead for transportation. Don't be late. Wedding ceremony will start promptly at 3:15 PM . Guests must be present by 2:45 PM.

Question

Where is the wedding reception?

Answer

It’s located between Mandalay Bay and Luxor on the 2nd floor. Please watch this video so you don’t get lost https://grandmarqueeroom.com/venue-details/#video-tour

Question

What time can I arrive to the reception dinner?

Answer

The ceremony does end at 4:00pm. You can use the break time to change or mingle with other guests. The doors for the reception dinner at The Grand Marquee Ballroom opens at 5:00pm. However, it will be a cash bar for the first 30 mins. Reception dinner doesn’t officially start until 5:30pm.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

It is a wedding after-all, we suggest you dress semi-formally. Keep in mind, event is happening in November, it will be cold in Vegas. Men- please wear collared shirts. AO DAI also acceptable during the dinner reception. Women- PLEASE DON'T WEAR WHITE or IVORY, you will be asked to change or you can marry Kauwi instead 😉. I’ll sit back with all the other guest. Per Kauwi, Judy will be in full bridezilla mode so don't be that... person. No sandals/flip flops, beach wear, ballgown, tuxedo, sun glasses, tank top/ white beater, shorts or bad attitudes.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or bring my kids

Answer

Seats are limited and we understand that everyone wants to bring a plus one and/or kid(s). Please check with the bride and/or groom as seats might open up if someone respectfully declines to attend.

Question

Is there a strict color scheme?

Answer

You can wear any color except a solid white/ivory dress unless you really want to marry Kauwi. But remember you’ll need to battle Judy first.

Question

After wedding Hangover IV treatment

Answer

If you’re interested in a hangover IV treatment the day after our wedding, please let us know by September 10. We’re trying to get a group deal. Right now, it’s $200 per person (not including tax and tip) but if we can get more than 13 people, it’ll be $120 (not including tax and tip)

Question

Can you bring in your own alcohol?

Answer

No. But if you do, sharing is encouraged.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yeah, yeah, we know why you're really here. As much as we wanted an open bar, it didn't make sense to have it for only 2.5 hours. Everyone will be provided with 2-3 drink tickets. If you don't want to use all of your tickets, please give them back to us so we can pass it to the ones that wants to drink more. If you want more drink tickets, come to us and we will provide you with additional tickets. But, please drink responsibly and no sand bagging!

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

Our dinner reception does end at 7:45PM. This will give people with kids to enjoy the rest of the evening with them. There might be an after party, if you're cool enough you might get invited to one or start an after party and invite people you meet at the wedding to join you. 😉

Question

Will there be a dance floor?

Answer

Unfortunately, our dinner reception is only from 5:30pm-7:45pm. We’ve designed it this way so people with kids can put their kids to bed early without missing our wedding. Now everyone has a chance to enjoy the rest of their evening with their love ones. Go watch a show, gamble a little, it’s all on you. But go dancing if you want to, we’re not gonna stop you.
