Arrival Option 3: Hire a driver
You can take an Uber or, even better, download an app called In-Drive in advance. In the app you can request a drive from Bucaramanga to Barichara. It will cost you about $60-$80 CAD, with a driver. We often use that option, as do most Colombians. It is perfectly fine. Again, we can arrange for multiple people to work the drive, through our whatsapp group.
All-in-all, don't worry, it is very easy to get to Barichara
