Arrival option 2: Take a Vivex tour
Vivex is a colombian company offering great tours. For $60 Canadian Dollars ($45 USD), you can get a tour that takes you from Bucaramanga to Barichara, and stops in all small towns in between (which are worth a visit). Instead of retourning, you can just tell the tour guide that you will be dropped in Barichara, making the tour a six-hour guided adventure. Note that the tour includes breakfast and lunch.
