Clinch County is renowned for its honey production—particularly its comb honey and specialty “swamp” honeys like gallberry and tupelo. Follow a self-guided trail celebrating local apiaries and honey producers. Clinch County Honey Trail features over 22,500 beehives, generating more than $2.9 million annually in farm-gate value. There are seven farm stops offering raw, comb, whipped, candy, and honeycomb varieties. Brochures and trail maps are available at The Avriett House, which also sells several types of honey from local farms. The sites are spread around the county.
