Los Cabos International Airport (SJD)
We recommend most traveling to rent a car. The daily rate is typically around $1.50/day for a sedan, but you will need to add insurance on top of this price. There are two insurances- one for liability (typically $20/day) and one for collision (also $20/day), $40/day total. If you have a travel-focused credit card you can usually waive the collision insurance because it's covered . The liability is for any non-Mexico residents and thus mandatory. Total cost should be around $25/day + gas. The drive from the airport takes about 1hr & is on fully paved toll road. There will be no costs to park the car once at the hotel & you will not necessarily need it for the weekend unless you choose to explore. Rancho Pescadero can arrange for a shuttle for up to 10 people to pick you up from the airport for $165 one way. Smaller cars are around $140 each way. This is a group of 3 very nice-looking king suites (sleeps 2 adults each, total of 6), and can be rented individually or all together. Beachfront and "walking distance" to Rancho Pescadero! Looks like prices start at $165 a night.

Surf Casitas is "rustic style" casitas that look laid back and somewhat basic but quite lovely and recently updated, gets great reviews. They have 5 casitas, two of which sleep 4 people and the others sleep 2. Total of 10 people! Cost is $69-105 per night. 1km away, 12 minute walk. *UPDATE: BOOKED* Las Palmas Tropicales is an adorable beachfront small inn/villa with one large house and 6 casitas that sleep 2 each. Price ranges from $60-100 per night for casitas and $300 per night for the house that sleeps 6 (3BR). It is 1km from RP (10-12 minute walk!).
