Our official invites were emailed out! When login on the RSVP, you'll see who's in your party and if you've been given a plus one. To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, all non-wedding party kiddos (under 21) will need to wait to join us at the next gathering.
Our wedding is in a busy local neighborhood in the city of Chicago. Find your way to the venue how you would any other time you go to the city--either by train (Logan Square CTA blue-line stop is 1 block from the venue); book a ride-share or Taxi; drive yourself and hope for parking or try to find a SpotHero spot; etc. There is paid street parking around the venue, but it's first come first serve, and we have no idea what it will be like on the holiday weekend. The venue staff has mentioned that there's a vacant parking lot (an old bank's lot that is no longer). They mentioned that "no one has gotten towed from there that we know of" - so if you want to risk it, you can possibly find parking there. It's right south of the venue off of N Linden PL. If you were to ask Jessica, who used to live in Logan, she would say don't drive, make other arrangements--especially that weekend. What we will say, is that we are going to have an open bar and we hope everyone will be safe and join us in draining the supply!
Feel free to stay wherever you would like! Airbnb, VRBO, or join us at the Hotel Room Block downtown. Really, stay wherever you would like! We want you to be comfortable wherever you stay!
We were really hoping the pandemic would be over by now, but unfortunately it keeps persisting with new variants, etc. For this reason, we've made the decision that our wedding will be for attendees who are vaccinated only. We hope this means that you'll be able to join us! However, if you are not vaccinated, we'll have to celebrate with you on another day. There are just too many people we love and care about that are immunocompromised and we don't want to risk it. We've already ensured that all our vendors will be fully vaccinated, so we hope this brings some comfort to our guests :)
