The Bridal Veil Falls trail is one of Joy & Zach's most favorite hikes. Located at the edge of town, the trailhead can be accessed by walking from downtown Telluride or via car. The spectacular Bridal Veil Falls are the tallest free-falling falls in Colorado. 4.0 Miles Roundtrip. Difficulty: Moderate.
The Jud Wiebe Trail is a favorite short hike that can be accessed right from town. You will travel through groves of aspen trees, wide open meadows, and see panoramic views of Telluride all the way from Bridal Veil Falls to the Valley Floor. 3.0 Miles Roundtrip. Difficulty: Moderate-Challenging.
This is Joy & Zach's favorite summertime activity! Located just 15 miles from downtown Telluride on Highway 145, Trout Lake offers great places to fish, kayak, canoe, and stand up paddle board, in the summertime. Kayaks can be rented from Bootdoctors in the town of Telluride. Car transportation needed.
